P0605 - Internal Control Module Read Only Memory (ROM) Error

P0605 Description
The ECM consists of a microcomputer and connectors for signal input and output and for power supply. The ECM controls the engine.

- Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)
When is the code detected?
  • ECM calculation function is malfunctioning.
  • ECM EEP-ROM system is malfunctioning
  • ECM self shut-off function is malfunctioning
